Identifies new projects, including new geographies, and ensures that newly identified opportunities are in line with risk management and strategies. Identifies and establishes new clients for potential business opportunities and maintains strong and close relationships with existing clients. Coordinates with Estimating & Bidding function in proposal preparation and submission. Contributes to Market Research function in analysing the market to fulfil Asyad department’s research needs. Conducts and periodically updates research and benchmarking of global and regional contracting companies to identify emerging / leading practices and expand Asyad business capabilities and market penetration. Develops business case for new opportunities/ projects and present business cases to various stakeholders to obtain buy-in in coordination with the Vice President of Business Development & Market Research in. Conducts performance evaluation processes for the Business Development function’s employees to cover objective settings progress performance meetings and performance appraisals. Develops adequate policies and processes for the Business Development function to maintain efficient operational excellence. Communicates the Business Development function’s guidelines and processes to employees and ensures clear understanding of these guidelines. Provides input and analysis to ensure competitiveness of services to assist in achieving the anticipated growth targets for Asyad. Contributes in defining and improving Asyad services through market analysis and specialized surveys.
